Wait — perhaps the minute hand gear completes 720 rotations is a mistake. Let’s assume instead:

- But minute hand normally does 1 rotation per hour — so this system’s minute gear spins 30 times per real hour.
- Thus, the speed ratio implies: the gear train accelerates minute hand.
- But without ratio, we cannot proceed unless assuming the 720 is consistent.
- In 24 hours, the minute hand completes N rotations where N = time × (1 rotation / 60 minutes) → 24 × 24 = 576 rotations? No — 24 hours = 1440 minutes → 1440 / 60 = 24 rotations.
- Impossible.
- Alternative idea: perhaps completes 720 rotations refers to cumulative linear displacement or sleep cycles — but not realistic.
